Steriogram’s Brad Carter returns to exercise his song writing skills with New Zealand’s beat master King Kapisi! Together they will show you how quickly you can get original musical ideas down using GarageBand 3 as the portable or home studio.
Using their own Apple Inc, Brad and Kaps will build a song idea live, then get expressive and mix it up with the other powerful new tools free onboard the new iLife 06.
We’ll then plug in, tune up, record some guitar and have a jam with some Apple loops and software instruments before adding vocals to our song idea. From here we’re going to make some serious beats and show you some cool audio tips to help make your song sound better.
You will learn extensively about GarageBand before we send it to Logic Express at the end of the session - the perfect tool for taking it to the next level. |
